Why WOC?
For the past 25 years, I have had the pleasure of dressing women both in the professional arena as well as those less fortunate through my volunteer work with Suited for Change. As a professional wardrobe stylist, representing higher end women’s clothing collections, Women on Course was an opportunity to meet new women and create relationships. Not only was the end result new friends and connections, I also fell in love with playing golf, something I attempted many, many, years ago with little success. As an extravert playing golf has been a huge part of my mental sanity during the pandemic. Thank you WOC!!!
Leading with Purpose
As the chair of the welcome committee, it’s my pleasure to work with my lady committee members to welcome WOC’s newest members and make sure they feel welcomed, have any questions answered, and help them navigate their way that will be most advantageous to them. We also contact those members whose membership may be expiring, to let them know they are an important part of the organization. Many times it prompts them to renew and we also learn about reasons they may not be able to or it doesn’t work for them. Ultimately it shows we care.
